About Feng Shui Help

This domain has been answering feng shui questions in plain English since 2000. Its original owner ran it for nearly two decades as exactly what the name says: a help desk for feng shui - questions answered straight, placement rules explained, and a calculator that turned a birth date into a set of personal directions. That calculator ran on this site from 2000 until the site went quiet.

The domain changed hands in 2026. It is now maintained by the team behind zhiji, a Chinese-metaphysics companion app. The mission here is unchanged, and so is the centerpiece: the kua number calculator on this site is a revival of the feature this domain was built around, rebuilt on the same classical formulas and checked against them before anything went live.

What this site is

Plain answers to feng shui questions. The classical rule, stated straight, with the reasoning the tradition gives for it - and which way it should face. The site covers personal directions (your kua number and what it unlocks), the home room by room (bedroom, front door, desk, wealth corner), the systems behind the rules (what feng shui is, the five elements, the bagua, eight mansions, the annual stars), and the questions people actually ask.

What this site is not

A shop. We sell no products, no consultations, no courses, and no cures. When a page describes a traditional object or remedy, it describes what the tradition holds about it - it is never a pitch, because there is nothing here to buy.

The editorial standard

Every formula, chart, and rule on this site is checked against classical sources and cross-verified before it is published. Where schools of feng shui disagree - and they do, more often than most sites admit - we say so instead of silently picking one. Dated pages, like the annual flying-star chart, are marked with their year and refreshed when the year turns.

The tradition is presented as the tradition: cultural practice with its own internal logic, explained on its own terms. No page on this site promises an outcome, and no page ever will.
