• 二黑 (èrhēi), star 2, in the Southeast. Two Black, the illness star. Metal cure (gourd or six coins), calm and tidy sector, no red or fire colors.

Where the year is on your side

• Star 8 in the North. Wealth star — reigning star of Period 8, still auspicious in Period 9 though gently fading.
• Star 9 in the Southwest. Reigning prosperity star of Period 9 (2024–2043) — the strongest sector of the year; keep it bright, lively, and in use.
• Star 1 in the East. Star of future prosperity in Period 9 — keep this sector open, clean, and uncluttered.
