• 五黃 (wǔhuáng), star 5, in the Southeast. Five Yellow — the affliction the classics take most seriously. No renovations, drilling, or digging in this sector; keep it quiet and place metal to drain the earth star.
• 二黑 (èrhēi), star 2, in the North. Two Black, the illness star. Metal cure (gourd or six coins), calm and tidy sector, no red or fire colors.

Where the year is on your side

• Star 8 in the West. Wealth star — reigning star of Period 8, still auspicious in Period 9 though gently fading.
• Star 9 in the Northeast. Reigning prosperity star of Period 9 (2024–2043) — the strongest sector of the year; keep it bright, lively, and in use.
• Star 1 in the South. Star of future prosperity in Period 9 — keep this sector open, clean, and uncluttered.
